Our Beliefs
-
The Bible is the infallible, living, active Word of God. Every scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness so that we may be complete and equipped for every good work.
(Psalm 119:105, 2 Timothy 3:14-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Isaiah 40:8, Hebrews 4:12, 1 Peter 1:24-25)
-
There is only one God, who created heaven and earth and everything in them. He has revealed Himself to us as the Father, through His Son Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, fully God and fully man.
(Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 45:5-6, Malachi 2:10, Mark 12:32, 1 Corinthians 8:4-6, Ephesians 4:4-6, Colossians 2:9, Revelation 1:8, Revelation 21:6)
-
God is a Spirit, eternal and unchanging. He is the Creator of all things and the Father of all humanity. There is no God beside Him, and there is none before Him or after Him.
(Isaiah 43:10, Isaiah 44:6, John 4:24, 1 Corinthians 8:6)
-
Jesus Christ is the Son of God according to His humanity and God Himself revealed in human flesh. He is God with us, the Creator of all things, and our Savior.

The Holy Ghost, also known as the Holy Spirit, is the Spirit of God dwelling in us. He comforts, guides, strengthens, and gives us power to live a life that pleases God.
(John 14:16-18, John 14:26, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Romans 8:9-11, Colossians 1:27)

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation is God’s gift of grace, made possible through the atoning sacrifice, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We receive salvation through faith in Jesus and by responding to the gospel according to His Word.
Jesus taught that we must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God. This new birth is being born of water and of the Spirit, through which we receive forgiveness of sins, new life in Christ, and the promise of eternal life.
(Isaiah 59:2, John 3:3-8, John 3:15-18, Acts 2:38, Romans 3:23-25, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, 1 John 1:8-9)
-
Repentance is an inward change of mind and heart that leads to an outward turning toward a new direction. It is more than an emotion; it is a decision to turn away from sin and turn toward God.
(Ezekiel 18:30-32, Isaiah 55:6-7, Jeremiah 26:13, Matthew 3:2, Matthew 4:17, Luke 13:5, Acts 2:37-38, Acts 3:19, Acts 17:30, 2 Corinthians 7:9, 2 Peter 3:9, Revelation 2:16)

Water baptism is an essential part of the biblical plan of salvation and a step of obedience for everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. We are baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. Through baptism, we signify the burial of our old life and identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. In baptism, we “put on Christ” and begin a new life in Him.
(Matthew 3:15-16, Matthew 28:18–20, Mark 16:15-16, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:36–38, Acts 10:47–48, Acts 19:5, Acts 22:16, Romans 6:3–11; Galatians 3:27)
-
The gift of the Holy Ghost is an essential part of the new birth and God’s plan of salvation. Scripture teaches that the promise of the Holy Ghost is “unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” The initial evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.
(Mark 1:8, Mark 16:17, John 3:5, John 7:38–39, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 2:37–39, Acts 8:14–17, Acts 10:44–46, Acts 19:5–7, Romans 8:26-27, 1 Corinthians 14:2-5)
-
As Christians, we are called to love God and others and to live a life of holiness that honors Him. Our lives should reflect the love, character, and teachings of Jesus both inwardly and outwardly. We cannot live this life in our own strength, but through the power of the Holy Spirit.
(Mark 12:28–31, Acts 1:8, Romans 12:1, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Titus 2:11–12, Hebrews 12:14)
-
Faith is essential to pleasing God, and it grows as we hear and receive the Word of God. We are justified by faith in Jesus Christ and saved by grace through faith in Him.
